Tina is a graduate from Simon Fraser University and Adler University. She is a highly experienced and deeply respected Registered Clinical Counsellor (#14488), Canadian Certified Counsellor (#11252552) and the Co-Founder and Clinical Director of Attune Therapy Centre. With over a decade of experience in the mental health field, she is known for her warm, grounded presence and her ability to guide individuals, couples, families through complex emotional landscapes with clarity, compassion, and care.

Throughout her career, Tina has worked across diverse clinical settings, including private practice, Vancouver Coastal Health, non-profit organizations, and crisis response teams. This wide-ranging experience has given her a nuanced understanding of human behaviour and relational dynamics, as well as the ability to work skillfully with people from all walks of life.

Tina’s approach to therapy is integrative and trauma-informed. She is deeply committed to a strength-based philosophy that honours each client’s inherent capacity for growth and transformation. Her clinical work is tailored to the unique needs of every individual or relationship she supports, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Existential Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy.

In addition to her core practice, Tina has developed extensive expertise in working with a broad spectrum of mental health concerns. She is highly skilled in supporting individuals experiencing:

  • Mood disorders

  • Anxiety and Panic disorders

  • Relationship problems

  • Trauma- and stressor-related disorders

  • Obsessive-compulsive disorders

  • Personality disorders

  • Substance use and addictive disorders

Her clinical knowledge and integrative approach allow her to provide highly attuned, holistic care for clients navigating complex emotional and psychological challenges.

In addition to her clinical practice, Tina holds specialized training in Separation and Divorce Coaching. As a member of the Collaborative Divorce Vancouver team, she serves as both a Divorce Coach and a Child Professional, offering structured support to individuals and families during the separation process.

In her role as a Divorce Coach, Tina supports one or both partners through the emotional, psychological, and relational challenges of separation. She helps clients manage conflict, improve communication, and navigate decision-making in a constructive and future-focused way, using an approach that integrates both coaching and therapeutic principles.

As a Child Professional, Tina meets with children individually to gather their views and experiences related to the separation. She presents their perspectives in the form of a written report, ensuring that the child’s voice is respectfully and developmentally represented in the process. While she does not engage in ongoing therapeutic work with the child, her role helps inform decisions that prioritize the child’s well-being.

With over a decade of clinical experience, Tina has extensive expertise in supporting high-conflict families, as well as individuals navigating mental health concerns, relationship issues, and co-occurring disorders. She offers services in both English and Farsi (Persian) and is committed to delivering culturally sensitive, ethical, and developmentally informed care. Her ability to combine clinical insight with collaborative family support makes her a valuable resource for clients facing complex life transitions.
