My Story

My goal in counselling is to help individuals grow, become more resilient, and improve their well-being by providing a safe and empathetic environment for self-exploration and healing.
I believe in taking a holistic and comprehensive approach to counseling. This involves integrating various therapeutic modalities customized to each client’s specific needs and preferences. This means that I draw from various psychological techniques and approaches to create a treatment plan uniquely tailored to the client’s circumstances. I have extensive training in REBT( Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy) CBT(Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and utilize Motivational Interviewing and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to support clients.
I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a Master’s Degree in Counselling. I am registered with BCACC # 23184, I am also a member of the Romanian Psychologist Association. I have additional training in Violence Prevention, Trauma-Informed Practice, Prolonged Grief Therapy, and Indigenous Learning.
I enjoy working with youth and adults dealing with substance use, mental health issues, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Additionally, I have supported individuals through grief and loss, career choices, relationship issues, and trauma. As an ABA therapist, I have several years of experience working with children with disabilities, autism, behavioural concerns, self-esteem and ADHD.
Thank you so much for thinking of me as your therapist. I'm looking forward to working with you and offering support as you embark on your journey toward healing and growth.
